Sunday, March 14
Morning Attend a local Mennonite Church.
Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Faith Mennonite Church, and the Third Way Community all hold morning services; Hmong Mennonite Church, Missio Dei, and St. Paul Mennonite Fellowship meet on Sunday afternoon.
Tour Leaders Martha Yoder is the Associate Pastor at West Union Mennonite Church, Parnell, Iowa. She has earned Master of Arts degrees in both Painting and Printmaking and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking from the University of Iowa.
Joetta Schlabach is the Pastor of Faith Mennonite Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She holds an MA in Theology and a Certificate in Pastoral Ministries from the College of St. Catherine’s, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Sandra Westby, Cleta Roth Gingerich and Mike Okerstrom, are helping to design the tour. They are involved in worship and the arts at Faith Mennonite Church.
Accommodations
Participants will stay at Carondelet Center,
a retreat and conference facility owned by the Sisters of St. Joseph of
Carondelet. All rooms use a shared bath (one for men and one for
women); linens, towels, and hair dryers provided. Breakfast is
included with the room fee. All other meals will be in restaurants
(chosen by the group) and individuals will pay accordingly.
