The Outreach & Service Committee has allocated $1000 per year to enable groups from member congregations to do service projects within Central Plains.

Selection Criteria
1.  Financial Need.  How do you know if you have financial need?  A rule of them would be to consider whether receiving this grant makes the difference between doing a service project or not doing it.
2.  Merit.  The impact of the service to be done--on your group and on those receiving your service.
3.  Guidelines.  Follow the guidelines given below.

Guidelines
Service must be within the Central Plains geographic region.
The grant will be issued for no more than one half the total cost of the service trip up to $500.
The group is encouraged to connect with a Central Plains congregation during the service trip.

Application deadline:  April 1
Since many service projects take place in the summer months, the application deadline is in the spring of the year the service project is to take place.
