Bible Study Webinars
We are offering three webinars to equip members of Central Plains congregations to read and interpret the Bible. This opportunity grows out of our Covenant of Spiritual Practices, in which we covenant to study the Bible together and with our neighbors. Our presenter is Meghan Good, teaching pastor at Trinity Mennonite Church in Glendale, Arizona. These webinars will be held September 12, October 24 and November 21, 2016.
Adult Sunday School
Our curriculum for adults is called Adult Bible Study. It provides in-depth, challenging Bible study from and Anabaptist perspective, written by an intercultural group of pastors, teachers, professors and leaders from the United States and Canada. Sessions include daily Bible readings, resources for additional study and free downloadable resources.
Adult Bible Study Online
This weekly article, written just prior to the date of the session, connects the weekly scripture to current events in the church and the world. Free at www.MennoMedia.org/abs.
Advent and Lent Devotionals
Subscribe to daily devotional emails during Advent and Lent. These devotionals follow the texts and themes of the worship materials in Leader magazine. They are written by Goshen College faculty, staff and students. Subscribe during Advent or Lent at www.goshen.edu/devotions.
Rejoice! Daily Devotional Readings
Each day’s entry includes a scripture reading, a short inspirational message, and a prayer of response. An additional prayer guide with requests representing Mennonite mission workers, schools and church agencies is included in the back. Published quarterly. Find it here.
