Subject: Emergency Prayers for Max Villatoro !!
Max called attorney David Leopold tonight and said that ICE agents have told him "to get his stuff together because he’s being removed shortly; meaning tonight or in the morning...it could be ICE agents jerking him around, but I (attorney David) strongly doubt it. The really disgusting thing is that they know we have a motion pending before the Board of Immigration Appeals."
Let us all spend as much time as we can in prayer for Max and the officials involved. Also, be SURE to call ICE in the morning to object to Max's (apparently) imminent departure.
Also, Dave Boshart was interviewed on Jan Michelson's radio show on WHO radio this morning. Who could have imagined a half-hour statewide theological discussion on the radio about immigration, mercy, and law with the most popular and experienced conservative radio commentator in the state? Amazing !!! and congratulations to Dave for more than holding his own in the discussion.
Here's the recording link. Take a half hour and listen to it: http://tiny.cc/radiointerviewvillatoro
Remember to pray for Max and call ICE in the morning !!
Bring Max Back!
Central Plains Pastor Max Villatoro was deported to Honduras on Friday, March 20 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Max and his wife Gloria are the pastors of Iglesia Torre Fuerte in Iowa City. Join us in prayer that Max can be reunited with his family and congregation, and join us in offering financial support to the Villatoro family.
