![]() Roy Kaufman returned to his home in Freeman last week after spending five weeks traveling in Israel and Palestine during April and May, his second visit to that land. Kaufman spent two weeks on a pilgrimage walk in Galilee, the Jesus Trail, walking from Nazareth, Jesus’ home town, to the Sea of Galilee, the scene of much of Jesus’ ministry. After a week touring historical and archaeological sites in Israel and particularly in Jerusalem, Kaufman joined a Christian Peacemaker Team Delegation for the last two weeks. The CPT delegation heard from Palestinian and Israeli groups and individuals working to resolve the conflict, and participated as activists and international observers in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, and rural villages around Hebron, all in the West Bank. Roy is eager to share his experiences and learnings with church, community, civic, and school groups who want to learn more about this important part of the world. He can address the spiritual, social and political aspects of this important and complex part of the world. To learn more and to schedule a presentation contact: S.
