Youth Mission Together
Introducing Youth Mission Together. During the summer of 2020, youth groups are invited to join with youth groups from other areas of conference to take short-term mission trips together!
Serving and learning together with another youth group (or two) from across CPMC helps to encourage youth to live the CPMC mission as they grow in leadership, experience fellowship and participate in discipleship!
For further explanation, see this letter from Amanda Bleichty, the Conference Minister for Christian Formation.
How it works:
1. Youth groups are invited to sign up to be matched with another youth group in CPMC (using this contact form)
2. Based on size, preferred locations and availability, Amanda will suggest potential mission partners and facilitate opening discussions.
3. Youth group leaders will work together to find a location and time for a combined trip and work with the organization of their choosing to plan and implement a youth mission trip during the summer of 2020.
4. On the mission trip, take LOTS of pictures and send them to Amanda Bleichty along with a short article or description of shared mission trip experience (for use in CPMC publications)!
Please note:
*Signing up does NOT guarantee or or obligate your participation in the program, but it does indicate willingness to communicate with another youth group and seriously explore the possibility of serving together.
*CPMC staff will not be responsible for planning/chaperoning youth group trips.
