June 26-29
Rock Island, IL
![]() When Central Plains Mennonite Conference convenes this year for our Annual Meeting, it will be around the theme "Cultivating Covenant Communities of Hope." We have invited Byron Pellecer, a church planter and pastor who now works for Everence to be our keynote speaker. Byron will help us to explore what it means to be communities of hope and how we go about the work of cultivating these communities. In our delegate time around tables we will explore these central questions as well. As one of our covenant practices mandates, we will study the scriptures together, using biblical stories to frame our discussions about cultivation, covenant, community and hope.
Delegates and guests (non-delegate members of CPMC and representatives from the wider church and church agencies) are invited to worship, report, discern and fellowship together during Annual Meeting. YOU are invited to attend to listen and to share your voice as the conference discerns together how to be and bring hope to our various communities. Join us in Rock Island, IL for Annual Meeting 2025! |
