(2025) For a on-year trial period, the Christian Formation and Outreach and Service committees of CPMC will be combining into one committee, the Outreach, Service and Formation Committee. They will be experimenting to see if they can effectively serve the conference as a combined committee.
The Christian Formation Committee (CFC) assists the members of CPMC to grow continually in Christ-likeness in order to embody a holistic witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. We do this by promoting Christian formation resources and equipping formation leaders.
They provide formation resources for children, youth, adults and families. The Outreach & Service Committee assists Central Plains congregations in promoting peace, justice, evangelism and church planting efforts, both locally and globally. The Ecuador Partnership, Partners in Mission and Church Planting Strategy Team are included in this area.

The Pastoral Leadership Committee is responsible to call out, credential and nurture pastoral leadership within Central Plains Conference.
Susan Janzen, Conference Minister for Pastoral Leadership, works with the PLC. Susan and the PLC help congregations call and credential pastors, conduct pastor and congregation evaluations, manage conflict and confront misconduct. They provide resources for pastors and elders/deacons. |
