Hispanic Ministries Coordinator
Ramiro Hernandez is the Hispanic Ministries Coordinator. Ramiro brings a lifetime of experience to his work as a pastor and church planter. He and his wife, Martha, planted two congregations in Oregon. Ramiro is a graduate of Goshen College.
Ramiro's passion is to participate in the birth of new congregations. Currently, Ramiro provides support to four developing Hispanic congregations in Central Plains. New congregations require new leaders so an important part of Ramiro's work is to coordinate the Instituto Biblico Anabautista (IBA), the Spanish language leadership training program of Mennonite Church USA. Ramiro and his wife, Martha are IBA teachers in three different settings.
Ramiro is available to meet with people in Central Plains who are interested in starting new congregations or Hispanic Ministries. He is available to present workshops, preach and offer consultation. With Ramiro's help we are working to build stronger intercultural relationships among our Hispanic and Anglo congregations. Call him to discuss ways that he can help to strengthen ministry in Hispanic and intercultural settings.
