The MDI is a discipleship model in which congregational leaders are trained to support and equip Missional Discipleship Groups of 2-3 people of the same gender who meet together weekly to be accountable to pray, read the Bible and share their faith.
We think it has great potential to bring vitality and joy to our members. Many of us long to practice our faith with more intentionality and personal accountability, but don’t know how.

In the Fall of 2015, Marvin Lorenzana of MMN will lead cohorts of congregations in carrying out the MDI. One cohort will consist of Central Plains congregations supported by Conference Minister Shana Peachey Boshart. So far, ten Central Plains congregations have expressed interest in joining the MDI.
